YES, FINALLY!! Season 3 HAS OFFICIALLY been confirmed. In Season 2, the protagonist was seen to have died. However, many believe that that is not the case, for he was granted mortality. Moreover, at the very end of season 2, he was seen again.
It is said that season 3, titled, "LELOUCH OF THE RESURRECTION", is set several years after Lelouch's Zero Requiem plane in the CODE GEASS: LELOUCH OF THE REBELLIO R2.
Also, I believe the season 3 is being made in order to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the anime series. It will focus on Lelouch's resurrection.
Can you wait for it? Well I can't.. SO EXCITED!!
